Tops'l Beach and Racquet Resort - What-A-View

Perfect for our family of 4! Communication with the owner was great! Condo was really nice and had great amenities! Only “complaint” was there was a pretty strong odor. Not sure if just musty from beach air or if the carpets need to be replaced/soft furniture needed cleaned. I did some cleaning myself which helped a little. Beach access was a little tough to figure out the first day, but after that it was no problem. Pool was really nice! A little small for such a big condo, but most times it wasn’t an issue.

*Read full review*Easy booking and check in. Very clean and we enjoyed our stay. The master bed was super comfy and the carpet in the rooms were very comfortable.. One thing that could be improved on is updating the bathrooms.. We have stayed here at the summit for many years and booked many different units through the years, so I’ve seen many of them updated. We’ve stayed in good ones and bad ones. I would definitely book this unit again for sure! Not really any complains, Thanks for a great stay!! No fault to the owner of this unit but it’s worth mentioning especially if you are a returning guest and know what you used to get for the price.. I didn’t know this until this recent booking. Tops’l got new owners back in April. If you don’t book through tops’l website and managed units, you no longer get access to all the free amenities anymore. You can’t use the pools, bar or bathrooms at the beach anymore. You must use port a potties. No food or alcohol options beach side anymore. Also no more access to the racket club with the indoor pool, showers, sauna and hot tub. No more free rides to the beach either. You must go online and pay for your shuttle to the beach based on how many days you need the service. There was talks of them adding food trucks at the circle down by the beach and that’s gonna be so tacky along with the port a potties for such a nice resort. We will see how things go during the next year and decide if we are going to keep visiting..

Our a group of three adults in for golfing really enjoyed our stay at this property. Super clean and a great kitchen with more equipment/furnishings then we have at our home. And the Tops'L property is really well maintained. It's peaceful and quiet the time of year we stayed (end of February 2025). We didn't use it, but the unit has a lot of beach equipment. It looks like it would be great for a family in Destin for the beach.The property owner was very communicative and easy to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.
