This place had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. In the kitchen the cooktop had grease all over it and the skillets/pans were in a heap under the cooktop. The cleanliness factor did not allow for us to feel comfortable cooking our meals in the kitchen and eating at the table where the chairs were in not good repair. None of the bathrooms had grab bars including a freestanding tub on the main floor...no grab bars. There were several flights of stairs that did not have sufficient bannisters and lighting. The outside firepit from pictures that we relied on, was in the front yard with only two Adirondack chairs..the other two were broken up in pieces in a pile by the firepit. The weather turned cool at the end of the week and there were no directions for changing the thermostat. The iron gate entry at the back side of the place was filled with tree trunks and a broken down piece of furniture. Inside that entrance the room had a musty odor. The pool cues for the pool table were in sad shape. There was a packman game that we could not get to work. The locks to the bedroom doors were not all in working order. We have rented thru VRBO a number of times and never been this disappointed. Electrical cords all over the place including outside around the hot tub where it's wet. I am trying to submit pictures to demonstrate our feelings. Would YOU rent this place for the same amount of money that we paid and feel any differently than we did? .

Lower Level : The entryway was dirty and had junk (an overturned Pool table and other items stacked against the walls. Only two decent pool Que sticks out of about half a dozen. Not tips on them. The TV in the lower level game room had no HDMI cable between the TV and the Cable box. We found an HDMI cable in one of the lower level bedrooms and used it. The Pac Man arcade machine was inoperable, It was unplugged and the back was removed and behind the machine. A very small strip of paper on the lower front said Out of Order. One of the lower level bathrooms had a broken showerhead.Main Level : The first thing noticed was an army of ants all over the countertops. We managed to kill most and from that point we kept all of our non-perishable food in plastic totes. The refrigerator has a warped freezer door and we discovered that the temperature in the freezer would not go below 22 degrees. We lost two cartons of ice cream before we discovered the problem. The furnace filter was so clogged with dirt and dust that the air conditioner unit froze up. We did not have a replacement so we left it out. The sofas in the main TV viewing room were very uncomfortable. They are so low to the ground that seniors like us had difficulty getting up from them.Outside :The grounds were a mess. The decks and hot tub were nasty with mildew and too slick to walk on, The outdoor grill was totally rusted. During our stay we had a storm that shut the power off for 4 hours. No candles or flashlights.

The house was definitely big enough for our family of 8 the kids enjoyed themselves so much especially the play set outside.It was still close enough to downtown Nashville without all the noise and traffic of staying downtown. Enjoyed our vacation so much.

Josh was very kind and accommodating!! We really enjoyed our stay. It was a gorgeous location and really fun stay. Not too far from Broadway but about a 45 uber ride. We would have liked the bathrooms to be a little cleaner but it was great! We would come back again!!
